"The Queen needs rest and an adjustment to her medication," the Norwegian royal family said in a press release.
The Queen will not be hospitalized but will remain at home during this period.
Last year, Queen Sonja was airlifted by ambulance helicopter from Prinsehytta in Sikkilsdalen, where she and King Harald spent the Easter weekend, to the National Hospital for examinations after experiencing shortness of breath.
In January 2025, she had a pacemaker implanted.
