The schedule has been cleared because the Queen, who has pulmonary fibrosis, recently underwent a lung transplant.

"Her Majesty the Queen is still recovering from her lung transplant and will not have any official engagements until next summer," the Norwegian court said in a press release.

King Haakon will continue working as usual. But "no major official trips or state visits" will be arranged during the autumn and winter.

Crown Princess Ingrid Alexandra will continue her studies and return to Australia in February.
