The Danish Queen Margrethe has been hospitalized for observation in Copenhagen due to a cold, the Danish royal house announced on Wednesday.
The 85-year-old Majesty has cancelled Thursday's engagements and, according to the royal house, the hospital visit is being made "as a precaution".
Queen Margrethe abdicated in January 2024 and handed over the throne to her son Frederik.
