The Queen is on her way back to Fredensborg Castle, where she lives, the court announced in a press release on Friday.
The 86-year-old queen was admitted to hospital on Monday after X-rays showed a large blood clot in her hip from a previous fall.
Barely a week earlier, the Queen was discharged from the same hospital after heart surgery.
Queen Margrethe is known as a royal who has always gone her own way. She formerly held the role of head of state after she abdicated in 2024 and handed over the throne to her son Frederik.
