Last summer, it became known that football player Robin Quaison was leaving the Saudi club al-Ettifaq. Now, the former national team player has made it clear with a new employer – the 30-year-old has signed with Aris in the Greek top league.

Quaison has signed a two-year contract with the club from Thessaloniki, according to Aftonbladet.

The Swede went to al-Ettifaq in 2021, but had a hard time even making the team under coach Steven Gerrard's leadership during the spring.

Quaison has scored 14 goals in 52 international matches for Sweden, but has not been selected by the new national team captain Jon Dahl Tomasson in 2024. His last appearance in the national team jersey was a substitute appearance in the European Championship qualifier at home against Estonia in November last year.
