The two presidents are participating in the annual meeting of the SCO cooperation organization in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan.
We should unite to combat external interference and support and help each other, says Xi according to Chinese state TV.
Russia's President also emphasizes the closer cooperation between countries and says that the security policy organization will "promote a fair and multipolar world".
During the meeting, it was also decided that Belarus will become a new member of the organization.
The permanent members of SCO are Kazakhstan, India, China, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and Iran since before.
