Putin is also to help Donald Trump mediate regarding Iran's support to its US-hostile allies, according to the news agency's information.
Trump is said to have asked Putin for help with Iran in a phone call in February. High-ranking officials at the White House are then said to have continued the talks in connection with the meeting between the US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Russia's counterpart Sergey Lavrov in Saudi Arabia on February 18.
The White House has not commented on the matter. Neither Moscow nor Tehran has confirmed or denied the information.
"Russia believes that the US and Iran should resolve their problems through negotiations," says Dmitry Peskov, the Kremlin's spokesperson, in response to Bloomberg's questions.
"Moscow is ready to do everything we can to achieve this."
