Public Health Agency urges parents to put away cell phones when spending time with children

The agency's recommendations will be released on Monday and follow a mission investigating the connection between parents' screen time and children's health, reports SVT Nyheter.

Research has indicated that parental screen time can negatively impact interactions with children. Therefore, guardians are advised to put away their phones when spending time with children - unless the phone is being used with the child.

Mobile-free zones at home can be the bedroom or the dining table.
