This is stated by the Norwegian Security Police PST in a press release.

In recent years there has been an increase in people who pay tribute to or look up to Breivik, says Caroline Iwarsson at PST's counter-terrorism department to Sveriges Radio.

According to PST, the threat from right-wing extremism is greater today than in 2011, when Breivik committed his terrorist acts. Among other things, young people today find inspiration in online forums where, according to PST, grotesque violence is mixed with humor, memes and references to games and popular culture.

Open channels like TikTok almost function as a highway for radicalization, says Caroline Iwarsson.

Anders Behring Breivik killed a total of 77 people during his terrorist acts in the summer of 2011.
