Both L'Equipe and Le Parisien report that the upset is great with the Champions League winner PSG.
Ousmane Dembélé started as a substitute, but had to leave the 2–0 win away against Ukraine in the 80th minute after an injury in the right thigh.
The winger was affected by a strain already in PSG's last match before the international break and therefore, the club believes that the 28-year-old should not have played at all in Friday evening's match.
Afterwards, national team manager Didier Deschamps defended the decision to substitute Dembélé:
He felt good and we had done everything we should during the week medically. If there had been the slightest risk that something would happen, we would have let him stay on the bench.
Dembélé was substituted in instead of Désiré Doué, also from PSG, who had to interrupt due to a strain in the calf.
According to Le Parisien, the national team's and PSG's medical teams will have a meeting during the weekend to discuss the injuries.
Ousmane Dembélé is a favorite for the prestigious Ballon d'Or, the award for the world's football player of the year.
