Protests have erupted in Iran after the country's Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi, discussed a peace agreement with the United States.

A video clip shared by the Fars News Agency, controlled by Iran's Revolutionary Guard, shows dozens of protesters gathered in front of a building belonging to the country's Foreign Ministry.

On Friday, Araghchi said on state television that no agreement has yet been signed, but that an agreement "has never been closer than now."
