The protests were in line with demonstrations held around Copenhagen.
Several thousand people took part in the protests, including Greenlandic Prime Minister Jens-Frederik Nielsen. Many of the protesters wore caps with the text "Make America Go Away" - a reference to Trump's MAGA movement (Make America Great Again).
The demonstrators then gathered for a protest march to the US consulate in Nuuk, Danish public service broadcaster DR reports.
