"The final autopsy report has been submitted and has strengthened the evidence, but further details about its contents cannot be provided, among other things because the suspect will be questioned about the conclusions in the report," prosecutor Markus Hankkio said in a press release.
He is also requesting a new extension of the indictment period, until June 16.
"We are awaiting, among other things, the results of a number of technical investigations and a compilation of investigative material."
The investigation is expected to be completed after the summer.
The woman from Rönninge was reported missing after a night out last Christmas and was later found murdered. The suspect, a 26-year-old, has admitted to aggravated assault, but denies murder.
