The group was previously known as Lov1 and is led by Pontus Bjernekull Mörner and Waldemar Eriksson. They broke through in 2020 with songs like “Sexcigg” and the album “Profeterna på balkongen” and have received over 140 million streams with newly released songs like “Sommarkatt”. The newly launched Butterfly festival will be one of Lovet’s major festival appearances next summer.
Butterfly Festival will be held June 26–27, 2026 at Frihamnen Arena in Gothenburg. Already ready for the festival are Macklemore and the Company.
