Steel group SSAB reports a profit before tax of SEK 661 million for the fourth quarter of last year. This compares with a profit of SEK 580 million in the corresponding quarter a year earlier.

However, revenue fell to SEK 22.1 billion, down from SEK 23.6 billion.

The board proposes a dividend of SEK 2 per share for 2025, down from SEK 2.60 a year earlier.

"SSAB's deliveries are forecast to improve in the first quarter compared to the previous quarter, against the backdrop of seasonally better demand," the company writes in its outlook.

"Compared to the fourth quarter of 2025, SSAB Special Steel's deliveries are expected to be significantly higher, with stable prices," the company adds.
