Grocery store chain ICA reports an operating profit of SEK 1.88 billion for the third quarter of its fiscal year. This is a profit increase of just over 35 percent compared with the same quarter a year earlier.

Net sales during the quarter, which ended in December, rose by almost 6 percent year-on-year.

"Continued price investments and increased customer inflow are driving volume growth and increased market share for ICA," the company writes in its report.

"Despite declining food price inflation, consumers' price sensitivity remained high. Some brightening can be seen in households' view of their own finances, but the price awareness that characterized the year will continue into the beginning of 2026," says CEO Nina Jönsson in a comment in the report.
