On the export market, producer prices rose by 1.3 percent and on the import market by 2.4 percent. However, on the domestic market, producer prices fell by 1.1 percent.
"It was primarily lower prices for electricity trading that contributed to the negative monthly change in the domestic market," says Chatrine Lundbeck, price statistician at Statistics Sweden, in a press release.
Compared with July 2025, producer prices rose 6.4 percent, according to Statistics Sweden.
Producer prices measure the price producers charge when selling to other companies and can be an indicator of price increases at the consumer level at a later stage.
