Producer prices fell sharply in March. The decline was 3.0 percent compared to the previous month. On the export market, prices fell by 3.5 percent, while the decline on the import market was 2.8 percent, according to statistics from the Statistics Sweden (SCB).
Primarily, the price drop for gasoline contributed to the decline, due to a lower oil price on the world market.
"Lower prices for refined petroleum products contributed downward on all markets in March 2025", says price statistician Jörgen Fagerlund in a press release.
