The first Suzanne Osten Prize will be awarded at Unga Klara in Stockholm on March 16 this year. The prize money is 10,000 SEK and the prize will be awarded annually by a jury. The prize is sponsored by Unga Klara's Friends Association.
In a press release, jury member and CEO of Unga Klara, Jonas Kahnlund, highlights Suzanne Osten's pioneering contributions to the performing arts for children and young people.
"A year after her passing, it is incredibly important to cherish her memory, and we do this best by actively continuing to advance a consistent child perspective," he says.
