From January 1, unemployment benefits will be reduced by thousands of kronor in several cases, mostly for those on the lowest salaries, according to the newspaper.
Linda Linné, chairwoman of the nationwide department for all Capio employees at the Swedish Healthcare Association, describes the members’ reaction as “an outcry”.
The reduction is of course not the aim, and I have great understanding for the disappointment many feel, she tells the newspaper.
The Swedish Healthcare Federation’s head of negotiations, Ida Eklöf, emphasizes that the purpose of the new OB agreement was to provide compensation that keeps pace with wage developments.
We have a mission to represent the members not only here and now, but also in the longer term and as a whole.
