Last Sunday morning, two men escaped from a detention center in connection to the prison in Borås. The men, who were on a recreation yard, climbed over several fences.
During the escape, another prisoner is said to have simulated an illness and drawn the attention of the staff. That person is now suspected of aiding escape.
”It is true that there is a person suspected and that the person is an inmate at the institution in Borås”, writes prosecutor Rebecka Nordlund in an email to Borås Tidning.
She writes further that there may have been more people who helped with the escape.
The men who escaped were arrested in Bollebygd on Monday afternoon.
