The man was kidnapped, severely beaten, and then shot with multiple bullets in the abdomen and one in the head.
Now, four young men are sentenced to prison after the incident in Karlstad at the end of February last year, local media reports.
Two of the men are sentenced to 18 years in prison each. One man is sentenced to ten years in prison and one to four years in prison.
The shot man, who was found outdoors on Skutberget, was severely injured but survived.
The attack on him is believed to be a revenge for a shooting a few days earlier, when one of the now convicted men was shot. However, it later turned out that the perpetrators had kidnapped a person who had nothing to do with the incident.
