Two prison guards at Salberg Prison in Sala are being punished with pay deductions for twice exposing a prisoner to excessive force, reports P4 Västmanland.
The incidents were caught on camera by surveillance cameras. The prisoner was, among other things, taken into an elevator in such a way that his head was banged against the wall.
The prison guards are considered not to have respected the prisoner's human dignity and the Swedish Prison and Probation Service's personnel responsibility board is punishing them with 25 days' pay deductions.
