"In an overall assessment, the employer finds that [the correctional officer] has, through his actions, grossly disregarded his obligations under the employment contract," the HR department writes to the Correctional Service's Human Resources Board (PAN).
The woman confirms that she provided the alcohol, but says that she did not make it herself. According to HR's investigation, however, it is also a violation of the Alcohol Act to acquire, possess and store illegally manufactured alcohol - and it is not in line with the Swedish Prison and Probation Service's guidelines to provide homemade alcohol at work.
The employer recommends that PAN decide on dismissal. The incident has also been reported to police.
