Pricehunt believes that the tech giant has abused its dominant position and intends to claim damages of SEK 21.4 billion.

"Pricehunt has long operated in a market where Google has a very strong position and where the European Court of Justice has finally established Google's violation of competition rules," writes Pricehunt in a press release.

In July, the court issued a ruling in the case between Pricerunner and Google. Google was ordered to pay damages to Pricerunner in the record amount of SEK 14 billion.

Google opposes the lawsuits.

"They are brought by companies that would rather have payouts than invest in their own products," Google writes in a comment, calling the damages claims "completely unreasonable."
