Princess Kate climbed the three peaks within 24 hours, starting on Saturday, writes the British The Guardian. At the finish line, she was met by her husband Prince William and the couple's three children.

She thus becomes the first member of the British royal family to complete the "three peaks" challenge.

The walk aimed to spread awareness of cancer and raise money for cancer research, she wrote on Instagram - but also to “explore life after diagnosis.” Kate was diagnosed with cancer in early 2024 and was declared cured in January 2025.

"I'm so grateful to be here," she says in a video posted on Instagram.

The three peaks in the challenge are Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon.
