Princess Ines' christening will take place in the Drottningholm Palace Church on Friday, June 13, 2025, writes the Royal House in a press release.
The christening will be performed by the Royal Court Chaplain, Bishop Johan Dalman, and the Pastor of the Royal Court Congregation, Ordinary Royal Chaplain Michael Bjerkhagen, and the princess will be given the names Ines Marie Lilian Silvia.
After the christening ceremony, a reception will be held for invited guests, followed by a private lunch.
Princess Ines is the King and Queen's ninth grandchild and younger sister to Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia's three sons, Princes Alexander, Gabriel, and Julian.
