The funeral will take place in the Royal Chapel in Stockholm. After the service, a private reception will be held in Princess Sibylla's apartment, Princess Désirée's childhood home. In accordance with the family's wishes, the funeral will take place among family and special guests.
In connection with the funeral, the Royal Palace, Drottningholm Palace, Haga Palace, the House of the Court Administration, the Court Stables and Villa Solbacken will fly flags at half-mast.
The King's sister Princess Désirée, Baroness Silfverschiöld, died on January 21 at her home, Koberg Castle, in Västergötland.
Princess Désirée was 87.
