Princess Birgitta to be buried

Princess Birgitta will be buried on Sunday, December 15, the Royal Court announces.

The funeral will take place in Drottningholm Church and, according to the Princess's wish, in the presence of family and specially invited guests.

The Princess, who was one of the King's older sisters, passed away on Wednesday.

In connection with the funeral, the Royal Palace, Drottningholm Palace, and Haga Palace will fly their flags at half-mast.

Princess Birgitta was 87 years old.
