Prince William's scandal-ridden uncle, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, is now being investigated for providing potentially classified information to Jeffrey Epstein during Andrew's time as a trade envoy.
In a statement, a Kensington Palace spokesperson said:
"I can confirm that the Prince and Princess of Wales are deeply concerned by the continuing revelations. Their thoughts remain with the victims."
William and Catherine are the highest-ranking royals to comment on the scandal, British media reports.
Prince William is on his way to Saudi Arabia for a three-day visit, but much of the royal family's work has been overshadowed by the Epstein scandal.
