British media publications intruded on Prince Harry's life in his youth and made him "incredibly paranoid," he said in court on Wednesday.

The Daily Mail newspaper and its publisher Associated Newspapers Limited (ANL) are accused by Prince Harry and several other celebrities of "a clear, systematic and persistent pattern of illegal information gathering" for many years.

The case involves, among other things, wiretapping and misleading officials. ANL denies the allegations.

The Duke of Sussex has told the court he prefers to be addressed as Prince Harry. He and his wife, Meghan, have been living in the United States since 2020.
