It was on January 16 that the Sportadmin app was subjected to a cyberattack. The app is used by 1,700 sports associations for, among other things, calling training sessions.
But it's not just private individuals whose information has been leaked. Also, Prince Carl Philip and several high-ranking politicians are among the two million Swedes who have had their information revealed.
Now, Prince Carl Philip's previously secret email address, which was registered in the app, has been leaked. This means that anyone can, with a simple search on a running service he has used, see exactly where and when he has been out jogging.
In addition to jogging routes, a recent trip abroad made by the prince is also revealed. And on the running service, it appears that the alias the prince has used to remain anonymous online, according to DN.
DN informed the court before publication, and the prince's account on the running service has now been removed. The court's deputy communications chief, Johan Tegel, writes to DN:
"The Royal Court's security department is aware of the information and has collaborated with relevant authorities. As this is a matter of security, the Court declines to provide further information."
