The Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson will participate in a European top meeting in Paris about the war in Ukraine, which France's President Emmanuel Macron has invited to on Thursday.
Several leaders from European countries will discuss peace and security in Ukraine, writes the Government Offices in a press release.
Last week, when Macron's initiative was made public, it was stated that the meeting, among other things, will concern preparations for a peacekeeping force in Ukraine if a peace agreement would be reached.
Kristersson then said that there is still Swedish openness to participate in a peacekeeping force, if "the conditions are right".
