A primary school in Norrköping is closed on Friday due to the police being tipped off about a written threat against the school.
"The Education Office takes the threat very seriously and therefore chooses to keep the school closed on Friday. The safety of the students and staff is our top priority, so as a precautionary measure, we choose to temporarily close the school", says Jonas Eriksson, Education Director in Norrköping Municipality in a press release.
The municipality further writes that the municipal leadership is cooperating with the police and taking measures to address the threat.
