The Swedish academic organization Saco has divided 60 professions that require a university education into three categories based on how easy or difficult it will be to find a job after graduation: little competition for jobs, balance, and high competition for jobs.

Little competition for jobs:
Priest, psychologist, midwife, librarian, civil engineer, officer, dentist, veterinarian, social worker, physiotherapist, optician, vocational teacher, subject teacher, agronomist, forester, pharmacist, coast guard.
Balance:
Business graduate, preschool teacher, elementary school teacher, lawyer, IT graduate, doctor, human resources specialist.
High competition for jobs:
Architect, social scientist, communication professions, museum and cultural environment professions.
