The annual Pride month has begun on Sunday – and in Thai Bangkok, it has been celebrated with a parade.

June is called Pride month, but the global celebration is expected to continue later in the summer.

Europe's largest parties take place in Paris on the 22nd of June, London on the 5th, Berlin on the 22nd of July and in Amsterdam between the 29th of July and the 6th of August.

In Stockholm, the parade is arranged on the 5th of August.

The global Pride celebration has taken place every year since the summer of 1970, a year after the police in New York made a raid on the hbtqi-bar Stonewall Inn, which led to violent demonstrations.
