51,000 kronor. That was the price per kilo for this year's first lobsters, reports Göteborgs-Posten.
The two premiere lobsters, a female and a male, weighed a total of 1.2 kilos.
The lobster fishing started at 07:00 on Monday and a day later the first lobster box was sold at Göteborg's fish auction. The majority of the money goes to the Sea Rescue.
Who gets to sell the first lobster is decided by a draw. The price has varied greatly over time – but even last year it landed on 51,000 kronor per kilo.
