Operating profit fell to $23 million in the first quarter of this year, an 85 percent drop compared with the same quarter last year. Revenue fell 12 percent to $1.2 billion.
Sales volume in the first quarter increased 8 percent to 33,500 motorcycles. In North America, sales rose 14 percent to 23,800 motorcycles.
