Örebro, February 4, 2025:
Ten people were shot dead and six injured at Campus Risbergska in Örebro by a 35-year-old man. The man took his own life shortly after firing at police.
Malmö, March 21, 2022:
Two women were killed at a high school in central Malmö by an 18-year-old student armed with a knife, axe and hammer. The 18-year-old was sentenced to life imprisonment in Malmö District Court.
Kristianstad, January 10, 2022:
A high school student was seriously injured and a teacher in his 50s was slightly injured when a 16-year-old boy attacked them with a knife in a classroom. The boy was convicted of three counts of attempted murder and two counts of aggravated unlawful threats and sentenced to three years in a closed youth care facility.
Eslöv on August 19, 2021:
Wearing combat gear, a skeleton mask and a helmet, a 15-year-old boy attacked a teacher at his school with a knife. The boy was convicted of attempted murder and four counts of aggravated unlawful threats and sentenced to two years and six months in closed juvenile care.
Varberg on January 28, 2021:
A man in his 30s entered a high school armed with a knife and an axe. A 17-year-old student was injured in the hand during the incident. The perpetrator was sentenced to forensic psychiatric care.
Stockholm, December 13, 2017:
A 17-year-old student at a high school in Enskede, south of Stockholm, died after being stabbed by a 16-year-old student. Another person was injured. The perpetrator was convicted of several crimes and was found to suffer from a serious mental disorder.
Broby, January 11, 2016
A 15-year-old boy was murdered with a knife at Göingeskolan in Broby, Skåne. The perpetrator was a 14-year-old boy.
Trollhättan, October 22, 2015:
A 17-year-old student, a 42-year-old teacher and a 20-year-old student assistant were killed in the attack on a primary school. The 21-year-old attacker, who was armed with a sword, was shot by police and later died in hospital.
