Malmö, March 21, 2022:

Two women were killed at a high school in central Malmö by an 18-year-old student armed with a knife, axe, and hammer. The 18-year-old was sentenced to life imprisonment in Malmö District Court.

Kristianstad, January 10, 2022:

A student at a high school was seriously injured and a 50-year-old teacher was slightly injured when a 16-year-old boy attacked with a knife in a classroom. The boy was convicted of three counts of attempted murder and two counts of gross unlawful threats and sentenced to three years of closed youth care.

Eslöv, August 19, 2021:

Dressed in combat gear, a skeleton mask, and a helmet, a 15-year-old boy carried out a knife attack on a teacher at his school. The boy was convicted of attempted murder and four counts of gross unlawful threats and sentenced to two years and six months of closed youth care.

Varberg, January 28, 2021:

A 30-year-old man entered a high school, armed with a knife and axe. A 17-year-old student was injured in the hand during the incident. The perpetrator was sentenced to forensic psychiatric care.

Stockholm, December 13, 2017:

A 17-year-old student at a high school in Enskede, southern Stockholm, died after being stabbed by a 16-year-old student. Another person was injured. The perpetrator was convicted of multiple crimes and was found to be suffering from a serious mental disorder.

Broby, January 11, 2016

A 15-year-old boy was murdered with a knife at Göingeskolan in Broby, Skåne. The perpetrator was a 14-year-old boy.

Trollhättan, October 22, 2015:

A 17-year-old student, a 42-year-old teacher, and a 20-year-old teacher's assistant were killed in the attack on a primary school. The 21-year-old perpetrator, who was equipped with a sword, was shot by police and later died in hospital.
