According to information provided to the trade magazine, he died on Sunday in a nursing home. The cause of death is not yet known.
Gerber was born and raised in Los Angeles and began his modelling career at the age of 15. He appeared in a Pepsi campaign with his mother in 2018 and was photographed with his sister Kaia Gerber by Bruce Weber for CR Fashion Book in 2015. The following year, he appeared in a Calvin Klein campaign and made his runway debut at Moschino's show in Los Angeles.
In August, Kaia Gerber revealed that her brother had struggled with drug abuse for a decade.
