Pezeshkian has ordered Iran's Ministry of Communications to restore connectivity to international networks to the same status as before January 8, when authorities shut down the network, Reuters reports, citing Iranian state media.
The connection was partially restored later, before access was cut off again after Israeli and American attacks on February 28.
However, exactly how and when the network can be turned back on is unclear, Reuters writes.
At the same time, London-based Iran International reports that the Fars news agency, which is controlled by the Revolutionary Guard, questions the president's authority, saying the Security Council restricted access and only it can decide on reopening.
