A man in his 25s is sentenced for serious sexual assault against children, reports ST-tidningen.
In the autumn of 2024, he was arrested suspected of rape and sexual assault against a child who attended a preschool where he worked. The man was acquitted since the district court could not ensure that the child's story was true.
However, the Court of Appeal made a different assessment and the man is sentenced to two years in prison and expulsion. To ST-tidningen, his defender says that they intend to try to appeal the verdict to the Supreme Court.
