A 25-year-old man who was prosecuted for assault against a five-year-old child in Stenungsund is acquitted by Uddevalla District Court, writes SVT Väst.
It was in October that the preschool substitute was arrested, suspected of child rape and sexual assault against a child at one of the preschools where he worked.
Now, Uddevalla District Court finds that the child's statement is likely, but that the evidence is insufficient.
The man has consistently denied the allegations.
