Milner broke through as a teenager at Leeds - the team he supported as a youngster - and in December 2002 became the youngest goalscorer in the Premier League at the time, aged 16 years and 356 days.
Milner played a record 658 Premier League matches for clubs such as Liverpool, Manchester City, Aston Villa, Newcastle and most recently Brighton.
The midfielder won the Champions League with Liverpool in 2019 and the Premier League with them the following year. He also won two Premier League titles with Manchester City (2012, 2014).
Milner has played in two World Cups and two European Championships, and has been capped 61 times for England.
