Seven men in their 20s and 30s, all employees of the Swedish Armed Forces, were injured in the accident. Five of them required intensive care, and one of the men’s injuries were described as very serious over the weekend.
The situation for all of them, based on what we have heard from the hospitals, is stable, says Jonas Beltrame-Linné, press officer at the Armed Forces, to TT.
The men are being treated for, among other things, shrapnel injuries sustained in an explosion during a training exercise. However, the Armed Forces does not want to release further details yet.
"We have a good picture of the course of events. But we will not prejudge the investigations that are underway," says Jonas Beltrame-Linné.
