It causes delays partly around the country but mainly in the northern Stockholm area, says Anders Porelius, press chief at Postnord, to SVT News.
In total, they have managed to divert 25,000 packages to other sorting terminals in the country. Technicians are working to identify the fault and repair it, but there is still no prognosis for when the sorting machine can be up and running again.
Even if we were to get the machine up and running today, there would be follow-up delays in deliveries, says Anders Porelius.
The delays are expected to continue throughout the week, according to Postnord's website.
Corrected: In an earlier version, the location of the terminal was incorrect.
