Post Malone will headline the closing ceremony at Metlife Stadium in New Jersey, which will begin 90 minutes before kickoff at 9 p.m.
Nicole Scherzinger and Robbie Williams will also perform, as will Jennifer Hudson, who will sing the US national anthem. Movie star Tom Cruise will also make a "special appearance", according to FIFA.
Details of Cruise's role are being kept under wraps, but if his participation in the closing ceremony of the 2024 Paris Olympics is anything to go by, it could be a "Mission Impossible"-esque stunt, where he rappelled from the roof of the Stade de France before riding through the crowd on a motorcycle and into an airplane.
The closing ceremony is the first to be held during a World Cup. A show is also expected during the break with Madonna, BTS and Justin Bieber, among others.
The World Cup final between Spain and Argentina will be shown on TV4. The broadcast begins at 7:30 p.m. The entire halftime show and closing ceremony will be broadcast on TV4 Play, where anyone who pays for a subscription can watch the broadcast ad-free.
