Norway took the lead in the 36th minute when Kristoffer Ajer struck from outside the penalty area with an incredible volley that Portugal goalkeeper Diogo Costa had no chance of stopping.
Two minutes later, it was João Cancelo’s turn. He also volleyed from outside the penalty area, sending a powerful shot into the goal.
With just over ten minutes left, Gonçalo Ramos gave Portugal the lead. He has now scored in three straight matches for the national team.
The final minutes were chaotic. Francisco Conceição picked up two yellow cards and was sent off, as was someone on the Norwegian bench. But there was no equaliser, and Portugal won 2–1.
Erling Braut Haaland was substituted without scoring with just over 20 minutes remaining.
Portugal has qualified for the Nations League playoffs with twelve points from four matches, according to AFP. Norway has three points.
