William Poromaa fell badly during the Tour de Ski and injured his ribs. "I'm in hellish pain," he tells Aftonbladet.

Poromaa was in the chase early on, but fell back at the end. The reason was a nasty fall.

"I fell with a kilometer to go and slid off the track. My rib hurts so much, so we'll see what it is. I've broken ribs before and it feels about the same," he says.

He tells Viaplay he will go and get the injury checked.

"I hope it will be calm," he says, considering that there are two stages left in the Tour de Ski this weekend.

Poromaa is in 23rd place, 2 minutes 31 seconds behind leader Johannes Høsflot Klæbo and about 1 minute 30 seconds behind Edvin Anger, who is third.
